Nurses perform many duties in a hospital and other medical facilities. There are the basic personal safety recommendations that include a lot of hand washing and proper disposal of contaminated items like needles that is common knowledge. Though all medical care professionals have specialized clothing to wear each day, not all nurses realize how important their uniform is to protecting them from contaminants and protecting their patients from cross contamination.
