A part of self-image is how we feel in what we wear. This is also true for nurses and other healthcare professionals that must wear nursing scrubs to comply with a dress code. When you wear something nice, that fits good, and looks good on you, it can help you to feel really good about yourself. Unfortunately, medical employees cannot just wear whatever they want. They must wear nursing scrub uniforms at work. Fortunately, there are uniform designs available that are quite impressive, stylish, and professional looking. Of course, there are also some designs that may be too simple and unfashionable for some employees and they simply don’t want to wear them. Others in the healthcare industry prefer basic and simple or are required to wear that style at the medical facility that they work at.

Any nurse will tell you that a good pair of nursing shoes is considered to be a good investment. This is because without the right footwear to support you while you spend long hours on your feet at work, you will not be able to last long nor will you be very efficient at the job that you do. For this reason you will never see a nurse wearing a pair of high heels or ballet flats to work! These shoes simply will not be able to offer a nurse the support that your feet need for a 12-hour shift as a nurse or the cushion that is needed. Now you can clearly see why it is so important to choose the right nursing shoes to wear with nursing scrubs.

Studies have shown that nurses will be able to do less scaring of children and more caring by simply brightening up their wardrobe. The fun prints are ideal, but bright solids will do the job of putting children at ease, also.

You probably will not remember the type of scrubs, name brand, style, or color of scrubs that they the nurse, medical caregiver, or TV personality was wearing unless they were the basic blue stereotypical scrub. You will remember if they seemed professional and competent.
