Almost everyone who works in the medical field today wears scrubs. Just think about everyone who works at your doctor’s office or local hospital. The only ones that you probably see not wearing scrubs are doctors who wear long lab coats and the people who work in the front office and maybe wearing street clothes or “business dress”. On the other hand, some doctors, their assistants, surgeons, technologists, lab workers, caregivers, and people who transport the patients all wear scrubs. While these scrubs use to be all white, then they were green, and now you can find them in almost any color. There are even scrubs that are available today which have cartoon characters and other novelty prints on them.

During winter storms in the south and snowstorms in the north, you might not be thinking ahead to spring. You may also not thinking of fashion when you think of nursing scrubs because it doesn’t seem like the words “fashion” and “scrubs” even belong in the same sentence. You may think that just because you are in the medical profession that you have to give up on being in style at the change of seasons.
What you look like on the outside will reflect who you are on the inside. Even if you are a simple and basic person and not much into fashion and name brands, you can still look stylish at the change of seasons. When spring comes around, you can wear the same basic nursing scrubs that you are comfortable and just change to pastel colors.

This is because without the right footwear to support you while you spend long hours on your feet at work, you will not be able to last long nor will you be very efficient at the job that you do. For this reason you will never see a nurse wearing a pair of high heels or ballet flats to work!
